December 16-18, 2005
WakeUpWalMart.com supporters held “All I Want for Christmas is Health Care for My Mommy” rallies at Wal-Mart stores in over 20 states to raise public awareness about Wal-Mart’s failure to provide affordable health care to its workers. Santa Claus, elves, children and other supporters distributed flyers and a national petition supporting Fair Share for Health Care legislation.

December 9-12, 2005
WakeUpWalMart.com supporters joined religious, civil rights and community leaders in candlelight vigils at Wal-Mart locations across the country. The Candlelight Vigils for Change brought together people of many different faiths to focus on Wal-Mart’s morally bankrupt policies.

As part of Wal-Mart Week, WakeUpWalMart.com supporters held screenings of the movie "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" in 216 cities and 39 states.

WakeUpWalMart.com supporters held the nation’s first Halloween fundraising drive to help uninsured Wal-Mart workers and distributed flyers about the shocking “Secret Wal-Mart memo” that was revealed by the New York Times. The public actions led by local supporters of WakeUpWalMart.com occurred in 84 cities and 26 states.
