WAKEUPWALMART.COM TO ANNOUNCE “IMPORTANT NEW DEVELOPMENT” IN NATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO CHANGE WAL-MART FOR THE BETTER

Washington, D.C. - Today, November, 17th, at 12:30 PM EST, WakeUpWalMart.com will be holding a conference call for the media to announce an “important new development” in our national campaign to change Wal-Mart and America for the better.

The conference call will address an “important new development” which will have great importance for Wal-Mart’s Associates and their families, and will help fuel the momentum for our movement and our 2006 Holiday Campaign, “Hope for the Holidays.”

As the group announced Wednesday, the goal of this year’s Holiday campaign is to build community pressure on Wal-Mart to “put America’s families first” and end its anti-family business practices and policies which hurt its 1.39 million employees, their families, and America.
