Know Your Rights
You have many rights as an employee of Wal-Mart.

Here is some important information about your rights in the store. Click on any of the links for a more detailed description:

Unemployment - Have your hours been cut? You may qualify for unemployment compensation if your hours or schedule have been cut, even though you still work at Wal-Mart. Click here to learn how to contact your state's unemployment office to tell them what has happened and to see if you qualify.

Overtime Pay - Have you worked before clocking in, after clocking out, or worked through unpaid breaks? If so, Wal-Mart owes you for this time.

Equal Employment - Have you been discriminated against? Wal-Mart must treat you equally regardless of your age, your disability, your gender, the color of your skin, or your religion.

Occupational Safety and Health - Is your Wal-Mart safe? It is the responsibility of Wal-Mart to assure that you have safe working conditions.

Workers Comp - Have you been injured on the job? If you have been injured, you should qualify for Worker’s Compensation Insurance.

Family and Medical Leave - Are you afraid of losing your job because you need to take time off to care for yourself or a sick family member? Do you have a new child who requires you to be home? Wal-Mart may be required to give you time off for these purposes.
